I was born in Bathurst NSW. After leaving school in 1952 I was apprenticed as a Plumber and Gasfitter, then in 1965 I started work with the NSW State Rail Authority as a tank-maker until 1980, then as a Rail Air Brake repairer until I retired in 1999.
I was married in 1958 and have 1 daughter, 2 sons and 8 grandchildren.
Having Family History as a hobby, I became interested in computers in 1994 and recently digital photography has entered into my interests and I now spend most of my time photographing headstones and entering the information into databases.
Being a member of PRCC has been very helpful to me as the help and advice freely given has helped me with my hobbies.
